Korean Cosmetics Haul #1

A package arrived this morning and I thought that I would share what I got. The haul was made from Kpoptown.com’s cosmetic department.

The items arrived in a neatly packed box and took 13 days to arrive from South Korea to Adelaide. Plenty of bubble wrap and package stuffers was used to nothing would break.  I ordered a total of 6 products, each from different companies.

Innisfree Color Glow Lipstick  (#6 Maple Burgundy Pink)

AUD$10.71

I bought this product, just because I wanted a darker lip colour to try out for winter. I’m quite medium skin toned (~MAC NC35) so I didn’t want to go all out and get a really dark colour. This colour is similar to a mulberry colour. The formula is rather like a lip balm with high pigmentation compared to the drying and stiff formula of an ordinary lipstick.

Nature Republic Botanical Cake Eyebrow Kit (#01 Dark Brown)

Recently my right eyebrow has been completely weird and not growing in the tail part of my eyebrow. It’s like my eyebrow has decided to stop growing at the arch. Because of this, I have started to do my eyebrows everyday to make them somewhat symmetrical. I was using the ‘Faint’ from the Naked Basics palette. It was doing a good job at filling in an reshaping my brows but when I saw this product, I thought “Affordable and from a company with a reputation” plus it was an eyebrow product. I wanted to try it out and see how it went with this particular eyebrow powder.

Aritaum Honey Tint (#10 Bitter Rose)

AUD$8.45

I bought this on recommendation from Liah Yoo from Yellowycream on YouTube. It was on her lips on a video and it really complimented her. I really liked the colour so I bought it (even though I have about a few products with almost the same colour). These tints are gathering lots of attention and is comparable to the Revlon Lip Butters. The one thing that stood out for me was the scent. The scent.

Missha Professional Blending Brush

AUD$6.25

I needed another blending brush and thought I’d try this one out.

Holika Holika Jewel Light Waterproof Eyeliner (#15 Burgundy Garnet)

AUD$4.19

Another Yellowycream recommendation. I saw this when Liah was using it and thought that it would be something different.  This eyeliner would also be nice for winter looks. It would offer an alternative to a black or brown eyeliner.

Etude House Proof 10 Auto Eyeliner (#BK801)

AUD$5.05

This product was rated number 6 on kpoptown.com’s 2014 best sellers list in the eye products category. I’m not sure how accurate it is but I thought I’d give it a go. Considering that its really affordable and that my current auto styled liner is so prone to breakage, there wasn’t much to lose. It has good lasting power and the colour is quite a strong black.
