For those who know about Memebox.com, you can skip this part since its just an introduction. hahaha. Memebox.com is a website that sells korean cosmetics world wide. Memebox’s vary in price, this one was $23, which isn’t very expensive considering the recommended retail pricing for these products had a total of $109 . Fresh off the runway makeup trends can be daunting, no doubt. So we made it simple and easy to find your best 2014 F/W runway makeup colors for non-scary hot, everyday Korean looks!
DD’ell’s Stay Forever Gel Pencil (06 Twilight Purple & 08 Garden Light) RRP $14 each
These eyeliners are something that I’m curious to try out. Gel eyeliners in pencil form. They are easy to apply with a cream type texture to easily apply them in your eyelid or waterline. These eyeliners also claim to be waterproof and long lasting, which is good news; no one wants their makeup to smear on them throughout the day or night.
DD’ell’s Illumination Eye Shadow (15 Shimmer Green) RRP $11
This eye shadow is a earthy green tone with shimmer. The shadow itself is gorgeous with enough pigmentation to give a slight wash of colour, rather than the brightness that comes with full opacity. This colour is not something I would reach for but there are many ways I can find this colour useable, I can add a brown colour for a nature inspired night look. So many possibilities.
Shara Shara’s Fairy’s Perfume Nail (VL01 Lilac Bora) RRP $4
This nail polish coats your nails with an even thin coat. The product claims to be long lasting as well, I’m curious to try it out how long it can stay on my nails. Plus the purple colour is something that I don’t already own in my collection. It’s a shimmery purple colour with purple glitter pieces, something I love.
Witch’s Pouch’s Love Me Blusher (07 Sexy Swan) RRP $14
Containing 4 different herbal extracts in its formula, the Love Me Blusher from Witch’s Pouch is gentle on the skin and applies on very thinly while leaving a long-lasting glow. This blush also comes with a thin brush, which is kept underneath the blush. The colour is a pure pink, with a tiny bit of shimmer in it 🙂
Witch’s Pouch’s POPO Lipstick (S21 Burgundy Wine) RRP $12
This lipstick is lovely, sheer deep red which is perfect for the winter time. It’s a flattering colour that I believe can suit various skin tones. The formula is moisturising and doesn’t emphasise any dry patches. The sheer opacity is great as an everyday red. The only downside is that I won’t be able to wear it as much as I’d like since it is spring right now XD
YADAH’s Angel Lip Tint (02 Red Wine – Gromwell) RRP $8
I haven’t really jumped on the tint bandwagon so my tint collection is almost non-existent. I’m looking forward to trying this tint out. The size of it is small so definately handbag friendly. This tint is suitable for even the most sensitive skin types since it is free of paraben, mineral oil, triethanolamine, ethanol, and propylene glycol free.
This box had many products that I’m curious to try out. Most are which I don’t think I would have bought myself, then again buying an gel eyeliner in those colours most possibly would cost almost the same price as the beauty box itself! I’m eager to try out the eyeliners and eyeshadows the most, they’re products that I feel can be incorporated into many different looks. I bought this box as an impulse buy and I do regret choosing this particular box since all it is, is different coloured eye, lip and cheek products. There aren’t any products that I’m super excited to try out unlike the previous memebox. Although the value of this box is great, I don’t think I’ll purchase another memebox again unless it is something that really interests me. No more impulse buys!
