Memebox.com says that this box is themed for a Girls’ Night Out:
Whether you’re dressing up for a sophisticated lounge party with your girlies or glamming for a clubbing night on the town with the crowd, this box is guaranteed to get you a double-take (or maybe 5!)
This box in particular has all full sized products and there is a total of 8 products. According to Memebox, they’re essential products for a night out clubbing as well as tried and tested for surviving the night. Which is good news of course, you don’t want your hair or makeup to fade away~ These products want to make getting ready that little bit more easier and effortless but with the same foolproof results.
Kskin’s Bulgariam Rose Pheromone Perfume Pink Angel (10ml) RRP $12
This rollerball perfume is infused with “rosa centifolia water, rosa damascene flower oil and white musk fragrance”, I have no idea what it means aside from it smelling like a rose bush on your wrists. I’m curious to see if I actually will end up using it as I tend not to go for too floral scents as they end up smelling weird to me when they get too strong. Who knows? I might end up going through a rose phase and love it.
Forest Story’s Water Essence Hair Perfume Soft Soap Fragrance (100ml) RRP $3
This spray is formulated to moisturise and nourish dry hair as well as give it a nice refreshing scent. This is one of the most exciting products for me. I have dry dehydrated hair due to my hair just being naturally course and wavy. My hair is also dyed as well, which doesn’t help it’s condition :L I’m eager to try this out to see how it fairs on my locks and if it makes a difference.
A.m.oK Cosmetics’ N.S.M Soft Moose Waterproof Liquid Line (3g) RRP $18
This is a liquid eyeshadow in a gold colour, which is good for a gold/brown smokey eye which is one of my go to looks for a bit of sparkle. It claims to last all night, for the customers sake, I hope it does. Nobody wants their makeup melting off or disappearing throughout the night. I’ve never tried out any liquid eyeshadows before so I’m curious to see how long it lasts on my oily eyelids.
Secret-Stargirls’ S-Style 2 set (No. 4 Angel Lash) RRP $11
A girl can never have too many pairs of lashes. This’ll give lots of volume and depth to my eyes. Hopefully they won’t look weird because I have small eyes in proportion to my face. At least I think so.
Croquis’ Dual Concealer 02 (8.1g) RRP $32
This concealer would be great for travel, as its double ended and compact. One end is for spot concealing, the other is an anti-wrinkle concealer. I love multi-use products they are great products for your handbag for on the go touch ups. The only concern with this is the shade. I’m medium skin toned (MAC: NC 35ish/Lancome: 03 in the Teint Miracle for an exact match) so I’m not sure how this’ll work on my skin. I’m willing to give it a go and see if I could make it work, as it seems like a handy product to have.
A.M.OK Cosmetics’ N.S.M Special Nail Lacquer RRP $10
Two of these came in a box, an orange (OR203) and a pink (PK149). These colours came in at a great time, winter is almost over so spring is almost here. These are really nice brights that are perfect for the spring and summer seasons. The pink is in the shade “Spring Pink”; a muted pink colour, which isn’t overly bright. It’s more of a pink leaning on the purple side. The orange is in the shade “Juicy Fresh” (The bottle says “juci hooresi”- what?)which is a solid orange colour. Both of these shades are perfect for statement nails.
Kepaclub’s Maxi Lip Tint Glow (3.5g) RRP $23
This lip tint moisturises, removes dead skin and plumps your lips. It’s also long lasting with a silky finish, it glides glides onto your lips smoothly and stains it with a natural colour. The colour I recieved was in the shade “No. 3 Cherry Pink”. The name is deceiving as the colour is more red than pink.
With a RRP of $109 and the box was priced at $23; this was a total steal. This box had a variety of products, some I would use more than others. I’m excited to try out the hair spray and the lip tint, other than that the box was a okay. The contents of this box was what I thought it would be considered you can only put so many products in a Girl’s Night Out themed box. They had versatile products such as the lip tint which in a hurry could work as a blush. Most of these products will most likely be used for easy touch ups like the lip tint and concealer; which is what the box was designed for. Overall, I felt like this box was okay, there wasn’t anything new or special. I didn’t really expect nail polishes and a concealer as well as a perfume to be in the box as they are picky products and can only be used by certain people, which is always a downside for beauty boxes. For example: what I encountered – the concealer shade being too light. I would purchase memebox again if I find a themed box that sounds interesting.
