The packaging is secure and sturdy even if it made out of plastic. Sturdy enough that it won’t suddenly pop open in my makeup bag. Although the clasp to open the product is pretty much self explanatory, it’s hard to open sometimes. I just keep gnawing at it and it won’t open. Then again, I do have a tenancy for having long nails… whoops. The packaging itself is matte with an embossed detailing of the type font.
COLOUR & FORMULA:
These kits come in 3 different shades: light, medium and dark. I got the kit in medium since I am medium skin toned. The first shade is a deep chocolate colour which is great for contouring but be careful as it is quite pigmented and a little goes a long way. The middle shade is a shimmery champagne colour that has a slight rose gold tinge to it. The shade is very subtle on my skin and sometimes you don’t even notice that it is has been applied. Which is a bummer since its just a gorgeous colour. Instead I use it as an eye shadow for the inner tear duct area, to brighten up the eyes. The last shade is shimmery copper colour with a gold tinge. This is one of my go to colours when it comes to wanting a slightly bronzed glow. It gives a slight bronze effect compared to the full on contour that colours like the first one provides. I use this colour to lightly contour and the chocolate brown when I want a really defined look.
For someone who isn’t blessed with amazing cheek bones, it does it’s job. This product is impressive as it offers 3 different shades which is good value as the products will last you some time and is long lasting.
