OOTD: Go – To Work Outfit

It’s currently the end of winter (almost), and the weather is finally warming up to around 18 degrees. Fingers crossed that the weather continues to warm up and the sun stops hiding amongst the clouds. I had an afternoon shift at work today, and thought hey why not share my outfit with you guys. It is the perfect way to kickstart my blog again.

Since it was pretty chilly outdoors, I always have a jacket of some sort with me at all times. Today was no different. I paired my simple outfit with a navy blue coat from Miss Shop. It has a full length zip and 3 toggle closures to keep me nice and warm. The coat is also just above knee height on me but keep in mind that I am very short (150cm) so it will look different on you. There is also a hood which is very handy but never used. whoops.

I love pairing simple work pants with different tops. I am just very thankful that workplace has a smart casual/ business casual dress code so there is a lot of flexibility when it comes to how the staff are able to dress. I often pair these simple outfits with either flats or heels which quickly dress up the outfit to something more formal. I’ve been loving loose tops lately and that is seen in this co-ord, they’re just so comfortable and perfect for when you are just around the office and not taking any client facing meetings.

For work days, my jewellery is usually very simple. My go to is either plain studs or a statement earring depending on my mood. I usually dress simply so the statement earring is just what I need to jazz up the outfit. As for bracelets I usually opt for bare wrists but sometimes I wear this turquoise bracelet from a Thailand market stall for a pop of colour.

Bracelet: Stall from Thailand

Earrings: Naomi Murrell and Amindy

Top: Cotton On Body

Pants: Portmans 7/8 Work Pants

Shoes: Sandler Buckle Flats

Thanks for getting through this picture heavy post. I’m excited to be blogging again and I promise there will be more ootd/fashion type of posts in the future.
